This is an improved German variety with stronger and more uniform upright growth habit, higher yield, larger flowers, and greater oil content.

Bodegold has an excellent, delicate, apple aroma (familiar in sherry producers) and makes a beautifully flavored tea. Flowers contain up to 0.7% essential oil – high in bisabololoxide and other valuable medicinal compounds.

Chamomile is a nervine herb, known for treating inflammation, stomach disorders, depression, anxiety, and insomnia.
