Description

Perennial thistle – non-spiky, native to Europe and Asia – enjoys wet soils. Flowers are creamy in color with a smudging of purple on tall stems with very attractive pale green and white bracts. Great bee and butterfly plant. Edible stems and young leaves, where they are cultivated as a food plant in Japan and India.
