Lily – Orienpet or Tree Lily ‘Beiing Moon’ (gallon pot)

Description

If you’ve admired the tall and stunning lily growing in front of our greenhouse – this is it! It is called an Orienpet – a cross between an Oriental and a Trumpet lily. And they get very tall – about 6 feet. Supposedly they prefer full sun, but they obviously don’t mind part sun location… they smell awesome – sometimes a bit too much scent though at times….

Very hardy and easy – gets bigger each year and starts to get multiple stems after about 3 years. You do have to watch it for red lily beetles – I can usually keep them under control by simply checking the plants and squishing the beetles, larvae, and egg clusters.
