Description
Echinacea purpurea – Purple Coneflower
A classic of the native herb garden. A fabulous source of nectar and food for butterflies and birds. Goldfinches adore it. Beautiful, and naturalizes readily.
Deer and woodchucks do tend to eat it – so plan on some protection.
Great in sunny dry soil – will rot if the soil is too wet. Will tolerate light shade as well.
Gets about 2-3 feet tall. Zones 4 – 9.
All of our plants and seedlings are grown organically and are timed size -wise and transplanted for optional growth and production.
