Motherwort – Chinese Plant (3.25″ pot)

Description

Chinese motherwort is not as commonly grown in these parts as Leonurus cardiaca, but it is easy and rewarding addition to the herb garden and not as aggressive of a spreader. Part sun is best but this is not a picky plant. Plenty of water and decent garden soil is all it requires.

Biennial. Sometimes flowering to 7 feet tall. An official herb of the Chinese pharmacopoeia (TCM). Traditional usage is to invigorate the circulation and blood and regulate menstrual cycle.
