Description

Malva sylvestris Mauritiana – A wilder version of the hollyhock and a great dye plant.

Mauritian Malva, as it is sometimes called, is a French Hollyhock.  Very showy perennial and dye plant with 2 – 3 inch lavender to purple blooms puts on a profuse display of color… reached 3 feet tall and is rather bushy compared to the showier more cultivated hollyhocks. Reseeds nicely. Likes warmth and well-drained soil, drought-tolerant.

All of our plants and seedlings are grown organically and are timed size-wise and transplanted for optional growth and production.
