Pulmonaria ‘Shrimps on the Barbie’ Lungwort (gallon pot)

Description

A great plant for part-shade areas. Very hardy perennial – deer resistant. Prefers humus-rich soils, but well-drained is necessary.

My favorite aspect of lungworts are the spotted leaves. This one gets clusters of bright pink flowers in early spring.

Pulmonaria is often used in herbal traditions… mainly for lung complaints, this the common name, Lungwort. But I don’t recommend using this plant internally in general.
