Thyme – Spiked or Zaatar (3.25″ pot)

Description

Some people consider this to be the true Zaatar spice – although it seems that the term Zaatar can mean different plants in different areas of the Middle East.

This is a wonderfully flavored thyme. Needs lots of sun and very well drained soil. I grow these in clay pots and bring them into the greenhouse each winter. Has an upright habit, growing into a small bush with wonderful flowers, that I love using in drinks and dishes.
