I had a lot of fun dyeing with coreopsis flowers last summer, and I seem to be collecting them now ….

This is an annual coreopsis… grows fast and prolifically blooms. Keep picking and more flowers keep coming to create new projects. Flowers are small – about  1 inch across, plants are tall – about 3 feet.

North American native, drought tolerant, deer resistant… Great cut flower – each stem adds a whole flush of small flowers to arrangements. Butterflies love the nectar of Coreopsis blooms.

Annual, but reseeds easily.
