Queen of the Meadow – Filipendula ulmaria Variegata (gallon pot)

Description

Although not officially the medicinal meadowsweet, this ornamental Queen of the Meadow is stunning.

Great for beneficial insects, brilliant glowing white plume-like flowers on top of brightly variegated foliage. Truly gorgeous plant. Variegations are irregular and interesting. Stems are pink.

Hardy – gets about 4 feet tall. Sun or Part Sun – doesn’t mind wet soil.

Filipendula rubra  – a pink-flowered version – is known as Queen of the Prairie.
