Clary Sage is a biennial and gets a flower stalk in the second year – these plants are in their second year, so if you are an impatient person, these would be for you! Clary sage is a great cottage garden plant – with spires of truly sublime flowers with green bracts in the second year. Wonderful scent. Likes full sun and well drained soil.
