Artemisia annua – Sweet Annie – This is a crazy plant – can create a whole lawn if you let it go to seed – very invasive. But great! Can be moved to a fluffy level of any height. If allowed to grow in full sun to its full potential, can reach over 6 feet high.

Wonderful, intense scent – I love to gather big whaths of it and bring it in in the fall as a winter bouquet. Freshens the air – great in damp closets.

This is now being used in treating malaria and is proving to be just as effective as quinine. Also being used to treat Lyme Disease. A very exciting herb. Each year I gather fresh leaves and freeze them to have in hand for treating Lyme.
