Some say that purple asparagus are sweeter and  tenderer than green ones – they are awesome raw and gorgeous added to salads and crudités. The purple color turns to green when they are cooked though! But they still taste great! Asparagus is so fulfilling to grow as it is truly a totally different experience when eaten fresh out of the ground.
