An early-blooming white-flowed aster – blooms in July. Flowers are held in clusters. Gets about 5 feet tall.

A wilding plant – attracts all sorts of pollinators as well as other larger wildlife, this is one of those species that ecosystems build off of and that reestablishes wildness. Do protect it when it is small and getting established as wildlife do enjoy the leaves. Once fully established, it will hold its own.

Spreads by roots as well as seeds and can be aggressive in spots where it is happy – moist, even wet, soil in full sun.
