Description
Aster – White Wood – Eastern Star (A. divaricata, Eurybia divaricata).
This wonderful native aster is a perfect source of late-season food for pollinators and other beneficial insects. Puffy sprawling mounds of small white flowers. Great for shady and partially shady edges. Naturalizes easily. Found in deciduous woods of the Eastern US.
One of the first asters to bloom at the end of summer. Sprawling habit – only gets about 1.5 feet high at most – does great mixed with other taller more erect-styled natives like goldenrod.
Prefers dryish soil. Part to full shade. Extremely cold hardy – zone 3 – 8.
All of our plants and seedlings are grown organically and are timed size-wise and transplanted for optional growth and production.
