Description
A delightful basil with oak leaf like ruffled edges and a slight hint of anise….
From what I have read, Richo Cech of Strictly Medicinal Seeds was the first to introduce this cool basil into the US from Tanzania in 1990. The original seeds were from a woman who gifted him the seeds – She was growing it in Zanzibar, off the Eastern coast of Africa, where it is used in perfumes as well as food.
