Champagne and Strawberries is a later-blooming variety of bearded iris – featuring soft peach petals accented with warm golden tones. Falls are mauve-rose color.

Directions for planting – No need to dig deep holes!

Rhizomes should be planted horizontally just under the soil surface. Make sure any leaf knobs are pointing upwards, and that roots are spread downward. The top of the rhizome should remain exposed to the sun and air.

Planting Late September is perfect! Choose a spot with full sun that gets at least six hours of direct sunlight daily. Needs well-drained soil. Plant individual rhizomes 12 to 24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting – settle the soil around the roots. Do not add mulch, as it traps moisture and causes rot.
