Blueberry – Blue Ray (Gallon pot / 4-year-old)

Description

Large, dark blue berries is the standout quality of Blueray – sweet, high quality berries. Vigorous and hardy plants and very productive. Great for freezing, too. Bushes will get 4-6 feet tall at maturity.

I have these planted up in large gallon pots and added both compost and Espoma Brand Organic Acidifier. So they are ready to just be popped into the garden!

Full sun to Light shade works best. Be cautious about using too much mulch as this can encourage vole damage.

It is best to have more than one variety of blueberry for ideal pollination. We like midseason blueberries as they are not as prone to SWD as berries that ripen later in the season. All of our blueberry varieties will flower around the same time so they can cross-pollinate.
