Calamint is a hardy and easy to grow perennial – Clouds of dainty flowers that pollinators adore, on compact, bushy plants. Prefers sun and well-drained soils. Drought tolerant.
A culinary companion to porcini or cep mushrooms (Boletus edulis), Nepitella is a culinary favorite in Tuscany where it grows wild, offering a distinctive minty flavor. Leaves bursts with aroma when brushed.
Great for cottage-style borders, fills in space well , great ground cover. Long bloom time of up to 7 weeks, flowers get deeper in color as weather cools. gets to about 1 foot tall.
Also, Antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory.

Note – calamint (genus Calamintha) is related to, but different from Catmint or Catnip (genus Nepeta)
