Description

Codonopsis – Dang Shen (also sometimes called Poor Man’s Ginseng) – A wonderful adaptogenic root.

A super cold hardy vining herb (zone 2) – the roots are referred to as Dang Shen in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Codonopsis is a primary Chinese medicinal herb.

Can be grown in large containers. Likes well drained soil of average to moderate fertility. Likes cool roots – a part shade position is best.
