Columbine – Alpine (gallon pot)

Description

A great natural columbine from the Alps – a true Alpine plant. Likes part shade and well drained, but adequately moist, soil. Woodland delight. Does pretty good in full sun too.

Unusual with large, nodding blue flowers on compact plants between 8 and 18 inches tall. Early spring blooming – tidy and compact with attractive foliage when not in bloom – flowers are great at attracting hummingbirds. Resistant to deer and rabbits. Less susceptible to powdery mildew than other columbines.

Zone 3- 8 perennial.
