I am continually adding new varieties and species to my dye plant collection…

These are brilliant dark magenta – carmine red with classic cosmos habit of willowy bobbing flowers. I grow them every year between and around my beans and brassica plants – effectively hiding  the veggies from bad bugs and attracting good bugs.

Cosmos are annuals that are easy to save seeds from. The more you pick them (they make great cutflowers), the more they flower! Prefer Full Sun and well-drained soil.
