Vigorous cranesbill producing a bounty of nearly jet-black flowers, with a reddish purple luster. Plant are full and lush with attractive leaves; flowers are long-blooming, and are bourn above the foliage. Doesn’t mind dry soil, deep shade, or humidity. Very hardy – repels rabbits, deer, and slugs too. An easy and wonderful ground cover – can fill in hard to plant areas. Blooms April through August. Zone 4 perennial.
