Description
Korean tasselfern (Polystichum polyblepharum)
Polyblepharum means “many eyelashes” – describing the bright fuzzy stems holding the dark green glossy leaves of this great fern. A striking addition to a shady garden or fernery. It is hardy and dependable, and can be evergreen in warmer winters. Zones 5-8.
Gets about 2 feet high and stays in a neat clump.
Part or full shade in well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water well on planting and regularly until established. Quite drought tolerant once it gets settled.
