An heirloom garlic from the Republic of Georgia. Beautiful with deep burgundy-purple stripes on relatively easy-to-peel wrappers… An excellent baking garlic with a rich and sweet flavor. Raw, the flavor is robust and lingering but not overly hot.
But this is one of the best baking and roasting garlics – both flavor and texture-wise.
Lasts up to 6 months after harvesting.
