Solidago odora
Also called Anise-Scented Goldenrod.
Sweet Goldenrod is a clumper; not an aggressive spreader. Prefers sun and dry well-drained, even sandy soil.
Leaves have a wonderful scent. A lovely choice of goldenrod for tea as the flowers taste very nice.
Gets about 3 feet tall. Blooms August and September.
