Description
Sometimes called Immortelle or Imortelle.
Perennial, drought-tolerant – grows into a woody, small shrub native to the Mediterranean. Flowers are shades of fuzzy yellow and are held on upright, dusty gray foliage. Grows to about 2 feet. Highly aromatic – resembles the aroma of curry. Great dried flower.
More significantly, this is the verified and primary source of a rather famous, expensive and uplifting essential oil widely used in perfumery and aromatherapy. Anti-inflammatory – great for muscle soreness, acne, bruises and swellings, psoriasis, burns, wounds, etc…
Full sun and dry, fast-draining soils. I like to plant this with one or more of the Everlastings.
All of our plants and seedlings are grown organically and are timed size-wise and transplanted for optional growth and production.
