Hollyhock – Arabian Nights (3.25″pot)

I am working on some dying projects this year and bought these hollyhock seeds from Strictly Medicinals – super cool looking dark red/maroon flowers…

Herbaceous short-lived b ut self seeding perennial native to China. 5 to 7 feet tall.

Sun to part shade – some support structure nearby like a fence would be useful.  Root restriction is relished–they seem to do best when growing up next to a rock or in poor soil next to a curb.  They usually do not flower until the second year. Plant 1 to 2 feet apart.

All of our plants and seedlings are grown organically and are timed size-wise and transplanted for optional growth and production.
