Honeysuckle – Japanese “Halliana” (gallon pot)

Description

Although we mainly grow and recommend planting native honeysuckles, the Japanese honeysuckle – Lonicera japonica – has a solid place in herbalism and  is a becoming a big herb of interest in treating Lyme Disease. Do be careful when maintaining this plant as it can become invasive, but we have not found this particular variety to be aggressive. This is  the honeysuckle of my childhood – the traditional yellow and white vining style honeysuckle.
