Kale – Galega (3.25″ pot)

Description

Galega is a wide, soft leaf kale with great flavor – an Italian Heirloom. The full name of this Lacinato is Galega de Folhas Lisas. This is one of my favorite kales.

A couple plants per pot.

A great thing about galega kale is the style of the leaf – it is big and smooth, which allows you to keep an eye out for caterpillar attacks without having to spend a ton of time searching through ruffled leaves. Brassicas – with their healthy big dark leaves – can be hard to grow because of insect pressure, but this style kale takes some of the stress out of maintaining them.

All of our plants and seedlings are grown organically and are timed size-wise and transplanted for optional growth and production.
