Description
Kale – Tronchuda is very similar to Galega Kale and Collard Greens – big wide tasty and tender leaves. Grown from heirloom seed from Baker Creek. Very attractive and delicious too! A couple plants per pot.
A great thing about tronchuda kale is the style of the leaf – it is big and smooth, which allows you to keep an eye out for caterpillar attacks without having to spend a ton of time searching through ruffled leaves. Brassicas – with their healthy big dark leaves – can be hard to grow because of insect pressure, but this style kale takes some of the stress out of maintaining them.
All of our plants and seedlings are grown organically and are timed size-wise and transplanted for optional growth and production.
