Description

Dotted Mint – Monarda punctata.

This is one of my favorite plants. Orchid-like flowers with brown spots on yellow and light pink and green petals. More sprawling in nature than the other more upright monardas.

A great medicinal herb – Monarda punctata has higher levels of thymol and menthol than thyme and mint.

Great planted with other sprawling herbs like lamb’s ears, horehound, and black wormwood. Great for rocky spots. Doesn’t like to get wet feet – needs well-drained soil. Sun or Part Sun are both fine.

All of our plants and seedlings are grown organically and are timed size-wise and transplanted for optional growth and production.
