Egyptian Walking Onions are perennial naturalizing onions that spread via bulblets on their tops. As the bulblets grow, they get heavy and fall against the soil and start a new plant. Allium cepa var. proliferum. Great flavor – a great way to have fresh onions available at point in the year. We use the whole stem, bulb and green parts.
