Primula – ‘Francesca’ (gallon pot)

Description

Primula vulgaris ‘Francesca’ is a  delight – this primrose is frilly, symmetrical, and compact – with subtle lime green flowers with a yellow eyes. Flowers are ruffled too… Foliage is deep green and roughly textured. Stems are a shade of rusty-iron. Long bloom time in spring and early summer.

I grow these in pots and bring them into the greenhouse for the winter, although they are supposedly hardy in this area. They like moist, rich soil and partial shade.
