Also known as Mad Dog Skullcap, Virginia Skullcap, Blue Skullcap – Herbaceous hardy perennial native to North America.

Plant prefers part shade to full sun and rich, moist soils. Loves edges of woods and forests. Creeping style habit about 2 feet high. Traditionally used for treating sleeplessness, anxiety, and depression. The plant itself is unassuming, with a multi-stemmed, upright habit, pinkish stems, and blue/lavender flowers.
