Sweet woodruff – Gallium odoratum (gallon pot)

Description

This is a delightful ground cover for a shady area. Glossy, dark green, evergreen star-shaped foliage and pure white early blooms in early spring. Blooms are fragrant – and the whole plant, once dried, has a wonderful vanilla-scent.

Drought tolerate; zones 4-8; gets about 10 inches high and will form a nice dense mat of foliage and flowers. Prefers shade or part shade and moist, rich soil. drought.
