Salvia – Silver Sage ‘Artemis’

A wonderful sage – not known for having a medicinal or culinary purpose, just pure fun and beauty.

Giant, felty, fuzzy, silver leaves that look great as a contrast against green foliage and small flower clusters.

Easy to grow – needs well-drained soil and sun. Artemis Sage is a biennial – in the first year, it is a big rosette of fuzzy leaves, and in the second year, it gets a flower stalk.

I’ve been doing some design work with tactile gardens and I love using this plant along with mullein and lamb’s ears!
